Brush Environment Settings in Medibang Paint Pro

Last Updated Dec 07, 2021

Now we will move to the final section for the basic setting on Medibang Paint Pro: Brush Coordinate or you may find Brush Environment Settings on the Medibang Paint Pro program. The Brush Environment Settings will be a big help to solve your brush problem on Medibang. It will also make sure the program will be at its best performance.

You can open the Brush Coordinate or Brush Environment Settings by clicking File -> Brush Environment Settings

Open Brush Environment Settings

A Brush Environment Settings window will appear like this:

Brush Coordinate

1. Brush Coordinate

Make sure to change this menu to Use Tablet Coordinate. It may cause problems if you use Use Mouse Coordinate.

2. Pen Pressure Detection

Check the first box! That will let the program will detect the pen pressure itself. However, if you still encounter some problems, check the second box and restart the Medibang.

3. Right Button

Your graphic pen may have 1 or 2 buttons that imitate the left and right-click on your computer mouse. You can set the right-click (also work for your mouse) as the shortcut for the Eyedropper/Eraser function. The Eyedropper is a quick way to pick the right color on the canvas in an art program.

4. Pen Tablet

When I was using Medibang many years ago, many of my friends talked about how Medibang has problems with HUION. I think that's why we have this box. But if you have another graphics tablet brand, tick it.

5. Pressure Sensitivity

You can drag the line to move upper or lower to change the pen pressure sensitivity. The value at the top left corner will let you know how much harder (>1) or softer (<1) the pressure has been applied. Mine will be softer since I don't use much force when I draw.

And that’s all about the settings! You know about some basic and changing your Brush Settings on Medibang Paint Pro; you are ready for the real job with this program!
