Medibang Group Project is a cool feature of Medibang Paint Pro. You can create your own group and work online. Even your team members are traveling to another country or going back to their hometown, they still can access all the files and keep updating! You can create more than 1 group, which means your collaboration jobs and the personal jobs can be set separately on your Medibang cloud.
So how to have your Group Project? The first thing we need to do is create your team, not Group Project at this moment. If you are not interested in the text, you can watch this old video I made many years ago:
First, make sure you do have a Medibang account. That's why in this post about "What is Medibang Paint Pro?" I said, "When you are using Medibang Paint Pro, you must create an account". Do you already have an account? Go to Medibang website: https://medibang.com and login. Right after that, you can see your avatar at the top-right menu of the website. Now click it.
Your full Profile menu will show on the right screen. You can see My Groups and click it!
A Team page open. Give a nice name for your team on the box Create Group then click Create
Your team is created! You can click on your group. Choose the tab Invitation and write your member account name on the box. Then click Invite. If they are already on your team, it will let you know. If your team members don't have a Medibang account, you can't find them.
The team is created. Members accepted your invitation. Let's move to the next step, create Medibang Group Project.
After you create your team, go back to your Medibang Program. You have 2 ways to create a group project:
1/ Choose File from your top menu -> New Cloud Project.... The hotkey will be Ctrl+Shift+N.
2/ Or simply click Cloud button on the top menu. The welcome winder at the beginning will appear, that's Medibang Cloud Services window. Click Draw Manga button
And the window New Project will be there.
What you need to pay attention to in this New Project window is:
1. Team: As I said at the beginning, you can create more than 1 team. That's why you should be careful choosing the right team for your project. If you create a project on the wrong team, you can go to My Groups to delete it. But I will talk about this later.
2. Title: Write the name of your project/comic, of course. If your team has more than 1 project, the Untitled name is not really good.
The template will help you quickly choose the right size for your work. That's a nice feature that all digital art programs have, you can find out about it yourself.
3. Default Page size: This one is the place you should write down some numbers. It's your manga/comic's page size. That will be the option if the template doesn't have the right size for you. Remember to check the right measurement: pixel, cm, inch.
Next is the DPI: 300 will be the minimum for you to print. And we have 2 boxes: the first one for your page, and the second one will be for your cover.
4. The number of Pages: Tell them how much paper you need to draw. And don't forget the next box, choose it if you need a file for your cover page!
When everything is set, let's click OK. And you've just created the Group Project on Medibang Paint Pro. Just keep in your mind that the storage is limited, you may have to pay later for expanding.
